WHAT IS LOCAL’S CLUB?
On Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12pm-7pm, FairFeed's shop: think a small takeaway deli/ market, with punters ready with their lists to order from the "Local's Club" menu of ready to eat seasonal fare served by warm staff with foodie wisdom. It’s the kind of place that gives you dinner confidence; and you can buy smart by buying in bulk. Avoid the hectic supermarket, soak up the delicious smells and save time & money. Set yourself up for success for the week. Fill your fridge with the nutritious everyday desires!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
An email menu is sent out to the subscriber-only list, detailing all the delicious and interesting fare up for grabs. Most items come in 2 portion packs, and fare ranges from excess stock from FairFeed's online menu to exciting test kitchen dishes, slow-cooked meat; kilo packs of curry to feed a tribe; bulk staples for the freezer. Prices range from $5 per portion and serves are generous. With punters leaving with bags full of "Local's Club" food, nothing is off the table: life-changing condiments; the best small local producers, dinner for the whole family, for a week! One thing is for certain: no two weeks are the same!
Local's Club became a hit right out of the gate with classics like Nonna's lasagne, slow-cooked meats like their Beef Brisket, and of course their "Nice Rice" dishes, a steal at $10 for 2 portions.

FairFeed manages to keep prices so affordable by utilising direct relationships with suppliers, buying power, their brand new production kitchen, and of course their highly skilled team of Chefs, many hailing from Melbourne's top restaurants.
NICE RICE INITIATIVE
The Nice Rice initiative pledges to "not waste a single grain", and FairFeed is serious about tracking it's impact. Half the cost ($5) of each sold goes to charities that fight food waste and support the Hospitality industry. FairFeed chefs relish in the opportunity to cook rice dishes close to their hearts, whilst getting to feed Melbournians for a ludicrously low price, whilst supporting causes that have real impact. THE VIBE
Affordability and social good aside, Local's Club has developed a cult following, with regulars returning every week for their fix. There is always something delicious to eat and the clever, warm staff comprising of Chefs and the like will be quick to suggest what to order depending on your tastes and budget. "The shop is half-shop, half commercial kitchen. Any given day you may see Nick carting huge Briskets into the oven, or our mad scientist curry chef Dave making the best Butter Chicken you've ever had.
