Pickup & Delivery


PICKUP: When can I pick up my meals?

Our friendly chefs are on site during the hours below for Pick ups. Come on by to 240 St Kilda Road, St Kilda on the day you have selected. Have your order number ready!

Wednesday & Thursday: 7am-7pm


PICKUP: What if I can’t pick up / forget?

No stress! The team will send reminder emails and texts once your order is almost ready for pickup.

If you are unable to get to us on your nominated pick up day, let us know as soon as you can via email. You can postpone your pickup day, or we can freeze your order for pickup or delivery the following week. If we don’t hear back from you by 7pm Thursday, rest assured your food will be donated, and will not go to waste!


DELIVERY: When will my food be delivered?

Your FairFeed meals will be delivered between 7AM and 7PM on the day you have selected by one of our FairFeed Drivers. You will receive a text messaged ETA window the day before, and again on the day of your delivery, so that you can plan accordingly (and leave out an esky with ice packs if you’ll be away!)


DELIVERY: What if I live in an apartment?

Please include your apartment number in the address, and instructions in the delivery notes if you would like us to leave it with a concierge, buzz you, any funny entrances etc. so that our drivers can get to everyone promptly. Our drivers do not have long to make drop offs, so be sure to write thorough notes to prevent a missed delivery.


DELIVERY: What if I’m not home?

No sweat. You can put out an esky with ice packs to keep the food cool, just let us know in the delivery notes!

If we can’t get to the front door, can’t get in contact and don’t have anywhere to safely leave your order, our drivers will bring your order back to our depot, and we will get in touch to organise redelivery/pickup at the next available date. Redelivery may incur an additional delivery fee, so be sure to let us know if your plans change suddenly. Email us on hello@fairfeed.com.au


DELIVERY: How much is delivery?

A central value here at FairFeed is fair pay for fair work. As such, our delivery rate is a flat $10.50 for most of Melbourne. Further out deliveries may incur a charge of $15 or $25 for Mornington deliveries.

We pride ourselves on transparency, and do charge a slightly higher delivery fee than some other providers. $10 goes directly to the driver and $0.50 is our administration fee. Similarly for further out deliveries, your driver will receive the full amount, minus our $0.50 admin fee.

Our drivers start early and finish late to ensure the food our beautiful chefs make gets to you fresh and safe. We do this to ensure our delivery service is in house. This means that if you have problems, you can speak directly to staff onsite: simply email us on hello@fairfeed.com.au, there are always eyes on the inbox and we will get back to you ASAP.

Food Packaging


How will my order be packaged?

Our food is delivered in high-quality, 100% recyclable HDPE plastic containers. They are very durable, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, freezer friendly and infinitely reusable. We also use recyclable 100% aluminium trays and paper carry bags which are both 100% recyclable and bio-degradable. All of our packaging can be recycled in your council bins: just be sure to wash them thoroughly first!


Does my order arrive cold packed?

No, your food will arrive fresh from a refrigerated van, with no additional packaging to keep it cool. Your order should be refrigerated (or frozen) promptly, or eaten. We do not support cold packing, which requires a lot of packaging material: most of which is difficult or impossible to reuse or recycle. Instead: leave an Esky out if you will not be at home or at work to receive your order.

With a little bit of planning, together we can reduce unnecessary packaging. Every bit counts, and we aim to make our whoole operation as sustainable as can be!


I’m just outside of your delivery zone, can you deliver to me?

If you are outside of our delivery zones, send us an email at hello@fairfeed.com.au and we may be able to deliver to you. This is dependent on the delivery distance and driver availability.

Consider having your meals delivered to your workplace, or a friend / family members house. Or, you can pick your meals up direct from our store in the hours below:

We try our best to list the most common food allergens on our item pages. If you have any concerns about the ingredients in our food, please send us an email to hello@fairfeed.com.au and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Gift Giving

Gifting food?

The gifting of FairFeed food has been a massive part of our lockdown business. And we love it! You can either purchase the food, and simply include the address and email of your loved ones, or you can purchase a FairFeed giftcard so they can purchase their own! You will receive a receipt to the email you put in, and the email for the recipient will receive the giftcard code. If you have any issues or questions, pop us an email!


Having food delivered to a friend?

We’ll need some of your friends information for delivery: their email and their phone number. You’ll also need to make sure they’ll be home on the day in question, or alternative delivery arrangements if they won’t be (i.e. delivering to their work). If you have any questions, send us an email!
